Development
The method is implemented with a team whose members come from all departments of the company (Management, Marketing, Purchase, Research department, Methods, Production, Quality, Environment...). So it is a multidisciplinary group.
Sessions last about 3 hours and occur nearly every 3 weeks.

The
company wishes to benefit from the entire method. The Functional Analysis and
the Environmental Analysis modules are led collectively. So the Environmental
objectives determined during the Environmental Analysis are included in the
Functional Performance Specifications. Data collected during the Environmental
Characteristics Knowledge Improvement are integrated into the Product Data Management

The
company only wants to perform an Environmental Analysis. It may occur that one
of the objectives determined during the Environmental Analysis is to conduct
an Environmental Characteristics Knowledge Improvement action. The
company wants to lead a Functional Analysis. We demonstrate the need to also
perform an environmental Analysis. How?Whatever the option chosen the first meeting goal is to give to the team a common basic knowledge of the ecological concerns and to explain what are the purposes of ecodesign.
